The Spanish Academy of Regenerative Medicine (AEMR)

The Spanish Academy of Regenerative Medicine (AEMR) is an institution founded by leading specialists with the goal of bringing scientific rigor and real clinical experience to the field of regenerative medicine. Our mission is to provide physicians with high-quality, evidence-based training so they can safely and confidently implement biological therapies in their daily practice. We believe the medicine of the future must be grounded in science, ethics and real-life clinical application.

At AEMR, you will be trained by a team of internationally recognised physicians with extensive experience in orthobiologics, ultrasound-guided procedures and cell-based therapies. Our faculty members actively treat patients every day and bring that experience directly into the classroom, combining theory with real case studies and practical insights. This ensures that every student learns not only the “how”, but also the “when” and “why” behind each therapy.

The program is designed as a complete pathway in combining online learning, practical clinical training in accredited centres and advanced in-person workshops, including cadaver lab sessions. We use modern tools, high-quality equipment and the latest scientific evidence to ensure each student receives a comprehensive and practical learning experience. By the end of the course, participants are prepared to apply regenerative medicine techniques with confidence, precision and full clinical understanding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question 1: What is the structure and duration of the AEMR Second Course?

The course is divided into three levels:

Level I – Online (theory): 17 modules and 62 recorded lessons, 24/7 access, live tutorials and mentoring sessions, and access to complete it until February 2026.

Level II – Practical: 2 clinical in-person days in medical centers accredited by the AEMR, with participation in real cases under the supervision of specialists.

Level III – V International OrtoBioMSK Course (Seville): February 5–7, 2026, including practical workshops, networking, and presentation of scientific papers.

The complete program includes more than 100 hours of theory, hands-on practice, and face-to-face activities.

Question 2: What certification and accreditation will I obtain?

After completing the three levels and passing the final evaluation, you will receive the Official AEMR Certificate, with accreditation requested from the Commission for Continuing Education of the Spanish National Health System (Community of Madrid).
This provides official recognition in Spain and international prestige, improving your CV and professional positioning.
If you complete only Level I, you will still receive the AEMR Certificate – Level I.

Question 3: Do I need previous knowledge in regenerative medicine or ultrasound?

No. The program is designed so that any physician working in the musculoskeletal field can follow it — starting from the basics and progressing to the most advanced techniques.
